As I got older and so did my body and I went from peripausal to menopausal I got more and more unexplained aches and pains and whilst my GP was lovely there were no answers that did not involve taking medication. Something I wanted to avoid.
I discovered Bowen therapy through a dear friend, who is a Bowen therapist, and having had several treatments for back pain, tennis elbow and my general aches and pains, I felt first-hand the power of Bowen; having a lifelong interest in complementary therapies I decided it was time for a career change and I trained with the College of Bowen Studies to become a Bowen therapist.
Since qualifying my desire to learn more about our amazing bodies and how Bowen therapy can help us all has continued. I am particularly drawn to women’s health issues and the importance of our lymphatic system. I have seen the benefits that Bowen can bring and I am constantly developing my knowledge and understanding.
I am also one quarter of ‘Four Therapists and a Chit Chat’ podcast. This is where I meet up with three fellow complementary therapists for a chat about life as a complementary therapist.
So, whether you are looking for support with an existing health condition, want to reduce your day-to-day stress levels or would just like a little “me” time, my aim is to get you feeling happier, healthier and energised with your specially-tailored Bowen treatments.
Gift Vouchers
Sometimes it is really tricky finding that perfect gift for someone you care about. Giving a Nicky Newton Bowen Therapist gift voucher is a gift of care. Whether you are looking for a birthday, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, congratulations on becoming a new mummy gift or you just want to say thank you. Then a gift of care is the perfect solution!
Every gift of care is giving that person some ‘me’ time to unwind and destress. Allowing them to let their body release tension and completely and utterly relax. You can choose either the value of your gift or a treatment. You can make the gift as personal as you like.
Each gift of care allows you to leave your own personal message. Each gift of care voucher comes in a silver envelope.
